Spring, after a long, hard winter!

This design can be finished by covering a
Dritz size 100 Button Cover and attaching a pin back, to wear it as a
brooch OR it can be finished with either Pendant Pal and be worn as a Pendant.
Pendant Pals are distributed by Norden Crafts and are
available thru any LNS.
Note - This design will also fit on the Pendant Pals if stitched on 18m
canvas.

wide x 28
stitches high
The black circle indicates the outline of a Pendant
Pal or Dritz 100 Button. Fabric size for the Pendant Pal or Dritz button is
4" x 4".
NOTE: With my monitor, not all of the grid lines are visible on the large
version of the chart, but when I print it out, everything is fine. If anyone
has trouble, please let me know and I'll see what I can do. ;-)

Fabric suggestions:
Wichelt 18ct Vintage Linen -Antique Ivory #59-9 or light colored
fabric that will stitch out to 18 stitches per inch.
Thread suggestions:
Pull from your Stash and just have fun!
Stitching Notes
This design is stitched *Over One* on 18ct Linen.
All stitching is with 2 strands of floss.
Use straight stitches for the
flower leaves and stems and for the handle of the fan.
When stitching *Over one* on 18ct linen, to avoid having thread *slide*
under the ground cloth intersection, see the diagram below.
