to Customers and Email Newsletters
As we all know,
Email is a wonderful tool, but with the proliferation of Email based
computer viruses and worms, it can be dangerous. After all of the work and
effort we put into our businesses, we don't want to sabotage ourselves by
spreading a nasty computer virus/worm and angering customers.
Currently there are 2 easy approaches to minimize the chances of spreading
a virus/worm thru Email.
1)Cut and paste the text instead of forwarding entire messages,
because you could be forwarding a virus or worm.
(Highlight the text you wish to copy and hit keys - Control C, then
move your cursor to the document you are pasting into and hit keys -
Control V.)
2)If you are sending an Email to multiple recipients, address it to
yourself and BCC (blind carbon copy) everyone on the list. This will
minimize the Email Addresses available to the viruses/worms.
