THE PILLOW COLLECTION
3 - Hand Painted Canvas
Pillows are among the most popular items to needlepoint and they
add such variety and elegance to any decor. (I don't display any of mine at home because
my full time staff members, discussed in Personal Notes, pulls them down to the floor to
sleep on! And Mams'elle has been caught eating the
buttons off, as well! YIKES!) I tend to go wild with ideas and I hope you'll enjoy what you see.

Apple and Grapes 1
I stitched this model using Pearl cotton and wool in close colors for the harlequin
background. The difference in sheen is very effective.
14" x 14" on 13 ct.
(Also available in The Petite Collection with a plain background.)
Deco Gazelle
This design is based on a wallpaper border Jeffrey used in his Living Room before we met.
I stitched it in red for my mother. It is also available in Blue.
14" x 14" on 13 ct.
Autumn Leaves
A family favorite, I've stitched this once and my Mom has stitched it twice. We used
different background colors each time. It is amazing how different they look!

Pelican and Sun
At Meredith's suggestion, the blue water is stitched with blue blending filament added to
the wool.
