Visual Elements
This exciting group of Charted Canvas Designs, featuring Rainbow
Gallery Threads, is excellent for the stitcher who is beginning to explore different
fibers and stitches. The sophisticated use of color and thread provide an equally
motivating project for the experienced stitcher. These designs break out of the
"Quilt Square Format" and provide a dynamic and vital expression of modern
needlework. The 5" x 5" design size can be attractively framed or used as an
insert in a Sudberry box.
Visual Elements - Fire
This dramatic and contemporary design features a variety of
specialty threads from Rainbow Gallery and blending filament from Kreinik. The stitches
used are Tent, Continental over 2 and Random Long Stitch.

Visual Elements - Water
This subtly romantic design demonstrates how the manipulation of
ply direction, mix of thread color, and rotation of canvas orientation provide an
invaluable lesson in the versatility of needlepoint. The stitches used are Progressive
Long Stitch, Diamond Eyelet and Original Helen's Lace.
