Visual Elements
This exciting group of Charted Canvas Designs, featuring Rainbow
Gallery Threads, is excellent for the stitcher who is beginning to explore different
fibers and stitches. The sophisticated use of color and thread provide an equally
motivating project for the experienced stitcher. These designs break out of the
"Quilt Square Format" and provide a dynamic and vital expression of modern
needlework. The 5" x 5" design size can be attractively framed or used as an
insert in a Sudberry box.
Visual Elements - Earth
This beautiful design takes a somewhat representational approach.
It was inspired by the West Virginia mountains I drive thru when going home to visit my
family. Stitches used are Bargello, Large Leaf, Small Leaf, Long Armed Cross Stitch, and
Straight Stitch.

Visual Elements - Air
This ethereal design uses a tight palette and a limited number of
stitches to emphasize the effectiveness of textural contrast and interplay. The stitches
used are Diagonal Long Stitch, Basketweave, and Basketweave over 3.
